Support Groups

Support Groups provide an opportunity for participants to share and connect with others experiencing similar issues, explore thoughts and feelings in a comfortable and safe environment, learn and foster new coping skills, and decrease feelings of isolation.

Parenting Group: Parents of Children with Special Needs

Support Group is led by Vicki Skelton, MFTI (IMF #58221). Supervised by Sara Rector, MFT #31230.

Designed to help parents of children with special needs. Attending this parenting group will help you to:

• Take time to care for yourself and regain a sense of your own identity.
• Build strength and hope through support from others who understand and share your challenges.
• Being the best you enables you to be the best parent for your child.

Support Group Schedule & Fees

• 6 week group Starts November 2008.
• Fee: 6 sessions at $40.00 per session.
